چکیده
Introduction: Embankments are constructed in many places for transportation purposes such as railways and roads. The stability of slopes embankments has always been a concern, especially cohesionless soils. There methods to increase the safety factor soil using geogrids, geocells, concrete piles, so on. conventional material used stabilize huge impact on environment. Nowadays, researchers natural fibers bamboo coir fiber stabilization purposes. Methods: In this paper, piles slopes. inserted vertically slope face shear strength against failure. A limit equilibrium method developed estimate improved by friction after modifying Bishop slices. is analyzed both reinforced conditions unreinforced analytical formula. Results Discussion: equations were considering three modes failure: failure along surface, movement upper part soil, leaving pile embedded base pulling out with mass. Further validation results carried method-based software SLOPE/W modified method. increased reinforcing all modes.

Analysis of Reinforced and Un - reinforced Soil Slopes using Abaqus
Assessing the strength of soil slopes and investigating the means for increasing their safety against failure are crucial in construction projects involving large soil masses. Slope stability analyses have traditionally been performed using a limit state approach. However, any presence of reinforcement or local heterogeneity necessitates the use of numerical techniques such as finite element an...

The present invention provides a method of analyzing for a specific material in a sample using a sensor including a resonating member having resonating properties. The resonating member has a probe and a known material is disposed on or forms the probe. The method includes the steps of positioning the sensor proximate to the sample, detecting a force dependent change in the resonance properties...
متن کاملStudy of Reinforced Slopes Safety Factor Using the Inclined Slices Method
Stability of reinforced slopes is almost always carried out using limit equilibrium methods and controlled by the shear strengths of the slope materials and the extension force of reinforcements. According to limit equilibrium methods, the stability of slopes is assessed by dividing the whole failure wedge into several vertical elements. In order to determine the safety factor of the reinforce...
متن کاملA simple Analytical model for solidification cooling rate based on the local heat flux density
A new simple analytical model for prediction of cooling rate in the solidification process based on the local heat flux density extracted during solidification is introduced. In the modeling procedure, a solidifying control volume is considered in the mushy zone in which a heat balance equation is used to derive the present model. As the local heat flux density is a measurable parameter, the pr...
